Have you ever battled a pesky skin allergy? Felt anxious? Or suffered from muscle or joint stiffness? Like you, your canine companions can also benefit from diluted, therapeutic grade essential oils, which are excellent topical and aromatic treatments to address these common conditions.
Professionals familiar with animal applications of essential oils will consider the following before applying individual, diluted essential oils or developing a custom blend for your dog:
Beach Dog Aqua Therapy formulates Young Living® essential oil blends customized to your specific canine companion’s needs. We also offer many unique blends designed specifically to address common issues that dogs may encounter. A few of these topical blends are listed below:
Beach Dog Aqua Therapy sources its cannabidiol (CBD), which does not contain the psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) known for giving one a “high,” from Nature’s Ultra. CBD is derived from the hemp plant, a cousin of the marijuana plant. Diluted CBD oil can be ingested by applying drops of the oil in food, on treats or directly on your dog’s tongue.
To enhance the impact of certain blends, you can combine the topical treatments of Beach Bliss or Muscle Movement with oral applications of CBD oil. As in humans, CBD extract can help relieve pain and reduce anxiety and depression from which your dog may be suffering.
Diffusing Essential Oils
In conjunction with topical applications of essential oils, you can also aromatically diffuse a single oil or a blend of oils to help alleviate the issues impacting your dog. For example, you could diffuse essential oils for a generally anxious pup; during a thunderstorm; or in any other scenario that might warrant the application. Keep your diffuser running consistently for optimal results. Consult with Beach Dog Aqua Therapy if you are interested in setting up a diffuser and to determine which essential oils are right for your dog and home.
